Different Types of Ethyl Aluminum Tenders

Popularly known in the scientist circles as EtAICI2, ethyslaluminum dichloride or ethylaluminum sesquichlride known as EASC are industrially important components. Major use of these components in industries is as organo-aluminum compound. It is also used a precursor to triethylaluminum. Since it has multiple uses in the industrial works a number of ethyl aluminum tenders continue to float on the web from time to time.

Some Other Uses
Some other uses of ehylaluminium sesquichloride are –
  • As catalyst in the Ziegler Natta type systems use for the olefin and diene polymerizations;
  • The component is also used for linear oligomerization as well as cyclization of the unsaturated hydrocarbons;
  • It is also used for alkylation reactions.

Use of Triethylaluminium
Trioethylaluminium is also one of the components for which regular tender are floated in the industrial circles. It is also one of the organoaluminum that is –
  • Volatile,
  • Colorless;
  • Highly pyrophoric; and
  • Ignites immediately when exposed to air.

How Ethelaluminum is Handled?
Since it is vulnerable to fire and decomposes when coming in contact with water, handling ethelaluminum requires care and caution. It is usually stored inside stainless steel containers. Main use of the component is as co-catalyst in the production of polyethylene and medium chain alcohols. It is also used as reagent in organic and organo- metallic industries and precursor to most other organoaluminium compounds. An example is the diethylaluminium cyanide.

Major Sources of Tenders
Major sources of the ethyl aluminum tenders are –
  • Chemical industries and institutes set up for the purpose;
  • Alcohol producing units and industries;
  • Polyurethane producing and processing industries and;
  • The scientific laboratories;
  • Defense services since the component can be used as rocket fuel like the Space X Falcon 9 heavy lift rocket and similar instruments.

It cannot be used as fuel in any traditional vehicle however. That is why the tenders for procurement of these products are confined to highly scientific institutions.

Use in Defense Industry
Most useful for the defense industry, triethylaluminium is thickened using polysoubutylene and then the component is used as incendiary weapon for defense and such operations. That is why most of the ethyl aluminum tenders emanate from this particular sector.

Bidding and Winning Tenders
Whether it is for the defense purposes or for scientific laboratories and others; bidding and winning the ethyl aluminum tenders is no mean task for any bidders. Especially those who are newcomers in the field have to be extra careful in their bidding. Some of the points they should bear in mind while responding to the ethyl aluminum tenders are as follows.
  • Quality of the product offered should be commensurate to the specifications and requirements of the procurer.
  • Price should be competitive and should match the current market trends.
  • Terms and conditions of the tenders for which bids are placed should be carefully considered and any legal or other requirements should be fulfilled.

Doing some homework and having some idea about the product that is provided by responding to the bid should do well for the prospective bidder. At the same time such knowledge would be good for procurement of raw materials for producing the finished product for the entrepreneurs.
